Svaneti Tours from Mestia and Beyond
Day trips and mountain experiences with local drivers and guides who know these roads in every season. Every tour below shows realistic timing, difficulty and what the weather can change.

Chalaadi Glacier Hike
The easiest glacier you'll reach in Svaneti — a gentle forest walk from near Mestia to a wall of ice, doable by most fitness levels.

Custom Svaneti Tour
Not a fixed product — a trip built around your dates, group, fitness and interests, using the routes, drivers and guides we actually trust.

Gvaldi Pass Sunset Tour
An easy evening drive to Gvaldi Pass for sunset light over Mulahi's Svan towers, Ushba, Tetnuldi and the glaciers — no hiking, just the view.

Koruldi Lakes Tour from Mestia
High alpine lakes above Mestia with a front-row panorama of Mount Ushba — reachable by 4x4 to the ridge, then a short walk, or as a full-day hike.

Mazeri & Shdugra Waterfall Tour
A green valley under the north face of Ushba, with a walk to the Shdugra waterfall — a quieter alternative to the busier Mestia trails.
Mkheeri Sunrise & Sunset Tour
A 4x4 ride to one of Europe's highest mountain churches, timed for sunrise or sunset light over the Greater Caucasus — Ushba, Elbrus and Tetnuldi all visible on a clear day.

Perseids Meteor Shower Night Trip
A night drive out of Mestia to watch the Perseids meteor shower with zero light pollution — Milky Way, dark peaks, hot tea, and hours of falling stars.

Tetnuldi Sunset Tour
An evening drive up to the Tetnuldi ski area for sunset light on the high Caucasus — one of the best low-effort views in Svaneti.

Ushguli Day Tour from Mestia
One of Europe's highest permanently inhabited villages, a UNESCO site under Mount Shkhara — a full day of Svan towers and mountain road.

Ushguli Excursion & Namkuami Lake Trek
A guided history stop in Ushguli — the story of Free Svaneti — followed by an easy-to-moderate alpine trek to Lake Namkuami at 2,700m. A different, more active day than our standard Ushguli tour.

FAQ
Are tours private or shared?+
Most tours run both ways: private (per car, up to 4–5 people) or shared (per seat). Private gives you flexible timing and stops; shared is cheaper for solo travelers and couples.
What happens if the weather is bad?+
Mountain weather changes fast. If conditions are unsafe or visibility is poor, we suggest shifting the departure time, changing the route or picking an alternative experience — before you pay for a view you won't see.
How do I book?+
Send a request through the form or message our Telegram bot. We confirm availability with the driver or guide and get back to you with a realistic plan — usually within a few hours.
Not sure which route is right for you?
Tell us your dates and we’ll suggest a realistic Svaneti plan — roads, weather and timing included.
