Gvaldi Pass is one of the best low-effort sunset spots in Svaneti — an evening drive from Mestia, no hiking, with views of Mulahi's Svan towers, the Mulkhura valley, Tetnuldi, Ushba and glaciers toward Chalaadi all from one viewpoint.

Settle in with a blanket and a folding chair, wait for the light to turn golden, then drive back to Mestia — about 3–4 hours round trip.
